Terre Exotique Agave Syrup, 250ml
Agave syrup is a natural sweetener for drinks, desserts and baked goods. It’s derived from the sap of the agave plant which is native to Mexico.
Agave syrup is low in calories and often used as an alternative to sugar. It has a smooth, fluid consistency and pale amber colour. The flavour is similar to honey, but milder and sweeter.
Use this delicious syrup to bake cookies and blueberry muffins. It adds delicate sweetness and keeps your baked goods moist. You can also use it to sweeten hot drinks and smoothies. Add a spoonful to a mug of mint tea.
For something a little stronger, add agave syrup to mojitos and margaritas. It’s a great alternative to sugar syrup and can be used in the same way.
Like honey, agave syrup adds mellow sweetness to dressings and marinades. Mix it with mustard and olive oil to glaze carrots and parsnips before roasting.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct light.
